We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land development, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and 5+ years of professional experience. As a Professional Engineer (P.E.), you will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing various civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements and industry standards.Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage complex civil engineering projects from conception to completion, including site development, infrastructure improvements, and environmental initiatives.
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software to create detailed designs, plans, and specifications for projects.
Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints.
Perform engineering calculations and analyses to ensure structural integrity, safety, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to integrate various aspects of projects.
Prepare and review technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules.
Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory agencies and local authorities.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate project details, progress, and recommendations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards throughout all project phases.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
Contribute to business development efforts by assisting in proposal preparation and client outreach.QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of employment
5+ years of professional experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software
