Summary
The Business Intelligence Analystleads strategic data initiatives, designs scalable analytics solutions, and serves as a subject matter expert in business intelligence. This senior-level role is responsible for driving business performance through sophisticated analysis, predictive modeling, and cross-functional collaboration, while also mentoring other analysts and contributing to enterprise data strategy.
Essential Functions
Lead cross-functional analytics projects and develop advanced data models and reporting solutions.
Identify KPIs and create executive dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
Utilize predictive analytics and statistical methods to uncover actionable insights.
Partner with data engineering and IT teams to improve data infrastructure and governance.
Develop and enforce standards for reporting, visualization, and data quality.
Train and mentor team members to build internal BI capabilities.
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and influence decision-making.
Skills & Qualifications
Expert proficiency in SQL and BI platforms (e.g., Snowflake,Tableau).
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data architecture.
Experience with statistical analysis, forecasting, or machine learning techniques.
Advanced Excel and scripting (Python, R) skills.
Strategic thinking, excellent communication, and storytelling abilities.
Demonstrated leadership in analytics initiatives or cross-functional projects.
Preferred Education and Experience
Degreein Data Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field.
Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Certifications in BI tools or analytics methodologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified Data Analyst).
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in a quantitative or business-related field; or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge.
3-6+ years of progressively responsible experience in business intelligence or analytics, including project leadership or mentorship.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, and photocopiers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention.
Exact hour requirements can be reasonably modified as necessary for the business needs by the employees manager.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds. The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
