Sr Product Engineer (R&D)

Job Description

Looking for a Lead full stack, product developer who is seeking an environment that will put your creativity and intellectual curiosity to the test. Developer will work directly with the CEO to build and create new products for the organization.

This person must be able to work independently and take requirements from design/architecture all the way to development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain applications using Javascript technologies. Other languages can used if it provides better solutioning.

• Develop and maintain microservices

• Test and document software

• Research and resolve application issues using current or new technology-must be an out of the box thinker

• Research and develop solutions

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• JavaScript (Node.js), Docker, and a database technology (MongoDB, SQL Server, MySQL)

• DevOps experience and source code control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)

• Experience with at least one of the cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, Digital Ocean etc.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs

• Experience with cloud messaging and storage is a bonus

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Self-motivated team player who can be counted on to do his/her part of the work and be relied on to complete tasks on time and work cooperatively with others

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills with proven ability to find creative solutions to various issues

• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey ideas

• Familiarity with the Agile Methodology and strong understanding of the SDLC

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• At least 3 years of full stack development experience

• Formal educational experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other closely

related field is preferred
