Corporate PSM Engineer

Job Description

The Corporate Process Safety Management (PSM) Engineer is a leadership role responsible for leading and overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of process safety programs and initiatives across our organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe operation of our chemical processes, minimizing risks, and promoting a culture of safety excellence.

This role will ensure corporate-wide compliance with OSHA regulations, will coordinate responses and actions related to incidents investigations, and will manage a team to improve PSM elements across all North American manufacturing sites. To serve as regulatory focal point for any health and safety issue that may have an impact to the corporation.

Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and implement comprehensive process safety strategies, policies, and procedures in accordance with applicable regulations, standards, and best practices. Providing strategic leadership and guidance to ensure compliance with relevant process safety regulations, including OSHA's Process Safety Management (PSM) standard and other industry-specific guidelines.

This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, maintenance, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), to integrate process safety considerations into all phases of project development and execution. You will foster a culture of process safety excellence by promoting open communication, active employee engagement, and continuous learning and improvement.
