As a Graphic Designer at MJUS, you will play a crucial role in bringing consumer facing marketing programs that align with our brand's identity and objectives to life. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into compelling visuals across various mediums including but not limited to point of sale materials, packaging VAPs, commercial support tools, sizzle videos, and digital content. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, organization, and a strong graphic design skill set.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Graphic Design & Development
Adapt master art / key visuals across formats and versioning for product, language, and text variations
Adapt creative for 2D and 3D POS units (corrugate, signage, standees)
Design mock-ups of materials in real-world retail environments
Deliver digital adaptations including static and animated (2D) assets
Develop creative compositions for sell-in and sell-through programs
Ideate and render 3D display concepts for in-store activations
Design packaging visuals including VAP (value-added packaging) formats
Develop creative visuals for wearables, premiums, and display enhancers
Produce visually compelling sell sheets, mockups, and imagery for sales decks/ support tools.
Develop sizzle videos that bring programs to life for internal and customer-facing presentations
Brand Consistency
Ensure that all design materials adhere to brand guidelines, brand tone, and compliance standards.
Contribute to the evolution and enhancement of brand assets and guidelines as needed
Project Management
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are completed to high standards
Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams for briefs, file reviews, and final outputs.
Lead asset distribution across departments, vendors, and print on demand partners
Creative Ideation
Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate fresh design ideas and concepts
Stay up-to-date with design trends and emerging technologies to maintain a cutting-edge approach to design
Asset & Content Management
Organize and maintain digital assets, including but not limited to images, product shots, backgrounds, legal mandatories, fonts, and design templates
Manage digital content library of all assets ensuring allfiles are properly labeled, archived, and easily accessible to the team.
Source and edit photography as needed to support initiatives.
Quality Control
Oversee color matching, press checks, and proofing stages for accuracy and quality before production. -
Conduct quality checks to ensure that designs are error-free and meet project specifications
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
3-5+ years proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in CPG or bev alc, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects
Creative agency experience preferred Shopper marketing exposure is a plus
Advanced proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience with 3D rendering tools and developing sizzle videos.
Strong knowledge of print production, POS display design, and asset development.
Experience proofing/color checking.
Experience working within brand guidelines for various brands.Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
Experience with web design and UI/UX design is a plus
