This role drives pricing strategy development, leads complex data analysis, and manages pricing execution at scale. The Lead Pricing Specialist is a cross-functional leader, guiding decision-making and mentoring others while ensuring pricing compliance and system optimization.

What you'll do:
Pricing Strategy & Execution:
Lead the development of pricing strategies that maximize profitability across multiple product lines.
Maintain pricing programs, structures, and customer price lists across ERP systems.
Analyze complex market and financial data to identify strategic pricing opportunities.
Oversee pricing approvals, escalations, and decision-making on high-impact pricing requests.
Drive process improvement and automation of pricing systems and workflows.
Manage part creation pricing processes with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
Conduct in-depth competitive pricing research and adapt pricing strategy based on market dynamics in partnership with product management team.
Develop and ensure adherence to internal pricing policies and external regulatory requirements.
Develop pricing compliance controls and monitor adherence across teams and systems.
Collaboration and Communication:
Lead pricing discussions and alignment with product management, sales, finance, and marketing.
Present strategic pricing recommendations and business cases to senior leadership.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to peers and junior team members.
Set best practices and standards for pricing processes across the organization.
What you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
Minimum 5+ years of experience preferred in pricing specific role, or product management, commercial finance, business analytics, or related role
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Oracle or related ERP system, Salesforce, and CPQ/pricing systems.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead strategic initiatives.
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
