VMware Engineer

As a VMware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and support of VMware-based environments across our enterprise infrastructure.

This role requires deep technical expertise in VMware technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, NSX, vSAN, and related virtualization tools.

This role will be fully onsite for about the first 4 months.

Following that period, hybrid work is a possibility

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage VMware environments including ESXi hosts, vCenter, vSAN, and NSX.

Monitor and optimize performance of virtual environments; identify and resolve issues related to compute, storage, and networking.

Implement and manage virtual machine templates, snapshots, cloning, and lifecycle operations.

Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions using tools such as SRM and HA/DRS clusters.

Apply patches and upgrades to VMware infrastructure in line with best practices and security standards.

Collaborate with network, storage, and cybersecurity teams to integrate VMware solutions into broader IT ecosystems.

Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
