Our customer is a Japanese corporation, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. In the Netherlands, a new entity (B.V.) has been established to start up production for the European market.
Job description
As HR Generalist, you will be part of the HR & GA Department. During the start-up phase, you will be in charge of HR strategy planning and rules, finalizing HR-related documents, writing guidelines and procedures, systemizing HR-related business and providing high-quality corporate services to the employees.
In the second phase, you will be involved in the HR-related fields in Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and EU Taxonomy.
Writing internal- and ISO-procedures
In charge of the operational day-to-day HR processes and procedures.
Assimilating and translating the parent company’s HR strategy into a suitable HR and Talent strategy for the Netherlands entity, relating to current and future talent needs, recruitment, retention and succession planning
Developing the HR operating model for the NL entity including hierarchical structure, reporting lines, job requirements and capabilities with the Manager
Implementing onboarding programs and creating learning and development programs to provide employees with internal development opportunities
Drafting job descriptions and processing recruitment and onboarding efforts, including drafting and/or reviewing employment offers and contracts
Performing job evaluations and external benchmark reviews, as well as determining appropriate incentive schemes
Setting up an performance management system; managing the payroll process,and liaising with payroll services providers
Job requirements
In order to qualify for this versatile and challenging position, required are at least the following criteria:
Proven track record of 5+ years in HR (management-) role or a similar position in the chemical industry
Bachelor in HR
Native level of Dutch and excellent command of English (spoken and written)
Knowledge, experience and willingness to work on Sustainability
