We are seeking an experienced agile Program Manager / Release Train Engineer to join Zions Bancorporation, partnering with our Cybersecurity department.

The Program Manager/Release Train Engineer plays a key role in organizing teams, conducting planning, and delivering strategic cybersecurity initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders and delivery teams. Through these initiatives, Zions Bancorporation’s cybersecurity defenses keep pace with relevant cybersecurity threats thus protecting customer, employee, and corporate data, continuity of bank operations, and reputation.

The Program Manager/Release Train Engineer will:

Build trusting relationships with stakeholders in cybersecurity, technology, supply chain, and other departments.

Produce timely and high-quality business outcomes in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.

Manage people holding the role of scrum master for teams within Agile Release Train(s) (ARTs).

Collaborate closely with delivery product managers and delivery product owners.

Facilitate cadenced quarterly planning and other agile ceremonies.

Manage dependencies with other Agile Release Trains (ARTs) or teams.

Ensure compliance with planning and delivery standards.

Contribute improvement ideas and participate in implementation of them.

May also perform Project Manager or Scrum Master roles within an Agile Release Train (ART) or agile Team.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

8+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager, Release Train Engineer, and/or Scrum Master with a Project Management Office (PMO) in medium to large corporate environments. Comfortable working in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Project management or agile certifications are preferred (e.g. PMP, SAFe, Scrum Alliance).

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, information systems, or related discipline. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.

High-level understanding (or aptitude) of cybersecurity technologies, governance, or operations is preferred.

Polished leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).

High emotional intelligence.

Strong negotiation and facilitation skills.

Ability to adapt to change and ambiguity.

Adept at personal organization and desire to continuously improve.

Proficiency in use of Microsoft applications and PPM tools.

Visa Sponsorship:

This Project Manager position is currently not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). This includes, for example, situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization while enrolled in school or upon graduation (e.g., CPT, OPT) but would need H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment in order to maintain employment eligibility.
