Job Description This position is hiring for day shift, Monday - Friday.

MISSION: To assemble complex segmented patterns in a dimensionally controlled fixture in preparation for the gating process.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY: General * To inspect pattern components and dimensional fixture prior to loading.

* Pre-inspects pattern and dimensional fixture prior to start of assembly.

* Reads and follows technique card assembly instructions, which describe numerous unique assembly steps of a complex nature; plans the methods for completing a given assignment and selects among alternative assembly methods.

Assembly * To accurately assemble complex multi-component patterns to maintain dimensional integrity.

* Assembles complex multi-component patterns by means of torch, hot pencils, and a variety of hand tools.

* Assembles complex patterns using full-time dimensional fixturing to maintain dimensional control and stability.

* Manipulates fixture/pattern components to remove configuration discrepancies and verify dimensional integrity * Possibly develops code sheets for engineering-requested modifications or deviations to standard assemblies.

* Inspects assemblies during and after the assembly process to detect defects and ensure quality.
