Key Job Responsibilities
Expert in patient care, serves as a clinical and policy expert and resource
Responds to emergency clinical patient care needs including all codes
De-escalation and service recovery to support patient and staff safety and satisfaction
Collaborates with Admitting and hospital leadership to accomplish efficient patient flow
Provides guidance and support to nursing staff in clinical care, decision making, and problem solving
Supervision of SWAT LPN staff during shift
Collaborates with interdisciplinary partners to achieve optimal patient care and escalation of care when needed
Support staff safety (BBF, Fit for Duty, De-escalation, Disciplinary action)
Manage Staffing Resources to ensure adequate staffing and efficient workflows Additional Administrative Responsibilities for the Lead CRA:
Scheduling
Competency/Education/Training Coordination and Compliance Management
Performance Management- CRA Team and SWAT LPN Team
Disciplinary Discussions and Actions as RequiredThe Clinical Resource Administrator (CRA) serves as a clinical resource and role model for professional practice on primarily the off shift and weekends. The CRA supports and assists with clinical, administrative and emergency needs throughout the institution. The CRA possesses excellent skills in clinical decision making and practice, communication, and interpersonal interactions. The CRA supports the professional growth and knowledge of the novice nurse through excellence in teaching, coaching and mentoring. The CRA coordinates operational issues to maintain patient safety and efficiency of care. The CRA serves as a liaison to providers, manager staff, unit staff, providers and external customers.

Reports to Director/Associate Director of Nursing for Inpatient Services
PAY RANGE: $90,399.49-$117,519.34 (based on a 40-hour work week)
*The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
