Zantech is looking for a talented Contract Support Services Specialist to provide acquisition management support services our Federal Client, the DHS/CBP Cargo Systems Program Directorate (CSPD), focused on cargo systems applications.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Contract Management
Support receipt and distribution of proposals to Business Managers and sub-CORs as directed by the Contracting Officer (CO)
Assist in preparing Task Orders (TOs), Delivery Orders (DOs), and Purchase Orders (POs)
Assist in preparing modifications to TOs, DOs, and POs
Review contractor notifications and requests for consent to subcontract
Act as liaison with CBP business management personnel
Contract Administration
Assist in monitoring and tracking invoice payment schedules
Process incoming invoices for COR review and approval, ensuring compliance with the Prompt Payment Act
Support the COR in meetings with government and contractor personnel on invoicing issues
Maintain TO/DO/PO databases for modifications and award fees
Assist COR in receiving and forwarding deliverables to Configuration Management
Help prepare Deliverable Response Letters
Support contract/TO closeout, reports, and artifacts
Monitor, track, and maintain contract files and correspondence
Deliverables
Kick-off Meeting Briefing with staffing identification (within 5 business days after award)
Monthly Status Reports (due by the 10th of each following month)
Required Knowledge and Experience
Federal and agency laws, regulations, and procedures applicable to the acquisition process
Various contract types including Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Cost-Type, Time-and-Materials (T&M), and Fixed-Price contracts
Experience with complex contract requirements including innovative acquisition techniques, streamlining capabilities, source selection expertise, risk management, and best practices
Security Requirements
Active Secret Clearance or Higher, must have a favorable adjudication for background investigation (T4 or T5)
Completion of required security and IT training
Adherence to DHS and CBP security protocols and non-disclosure requirements
