Front Warehouse Counter

Overview Front Counter - Help Employees & Contractors search for and find parts.

Assist in all warehouse operations.

Responsibilities * Search for parts in computer system * Enter charge tickets into warehouse computer * Match and verify incoming parts with receiving paperwork * Mark each part with SDI part number and put in correct location * Create bin and shelf tags for parts with a new location * Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks * Verify inbound and outbound shipping paperwork * Investigate any part discrepancies * Perform cycle counts * Operate forklift/overhead crane * General housekeeping * Help with any and all warehouse jobs Qualifications * Dedication to safety and teamwork * Crane/forklift experience * Warehouse experience * Knowledge of electrical/mechanical parts * Computer knowledge * Must be able to lift heavy objects * Strong Math skills * Self-motivated with excellent communication and customer service skills * Accuracy in fast-paced environment * Detail oriented * Positive attitude Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
