Local Travel Medical Technologist (Med Tech) â Nights - Marion, IL

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,100 (Based on Experience)

Job Description

Perform a wide range of laboratory tests on blood, tissues, and body fluids to support patient diagnosis and treatment

Operate and maintain sophisticated lab equipment and instrumentation

Analyze specimens using manual and automated methods to ensure accurate results

Follow all regulatory and laboratory safety procedures

Accurately enter and report test results using EPIC charting system

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Adhere to hospital protocols, lab quality assurance, and control standards

Education & Certification Requirements

Associate or Bachelorâ s Degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related science

Accredited laboratory training required

MLT or MLS registration preferred

AHA BLS certification required

Must provide proof of certifications upon submittal

Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical laboratory specialty

EPIC charting experience required

Position Details

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift Requirements:

Thursday & Sunday: 10:00 PM â 6:30 AM

Friday & Saturday: 6:00 PM â 6:30 AM

Float Requirements: None

On-Call Requirements: None

Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every weekend and every other holiday

Compensation: Up to $2,100 per week (based on experience)

Setting: Hospital-based laboratory
