Intermediate Mechanical Assembler

The Intermediate Mechanical Assembler will perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronics and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

Job Responsibilities: * Install, assemble and inspect electronic components per documented work instructions.

* Interpret job routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics.

* Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiatives on a daily basis.

* Perform a variety of inspections to ensure assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards.

* Perform pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts.

* Use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.

* Disassemble and re-assemble, modify, rework assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

* Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: * Typically requires a minimum of 2-3 years of mechanical assembly experience.

* Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

* Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures.

* Must be detail oriented and able to multitask.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written.

* Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications: * Two or more years of manufacturing experience.

* Electronics assembly and inspection experience.

* IPC-610 experience.

* High School Diploma or GED.
