Title: OOABAP Developer

Location: Hybrid (Northeast Region)

Description:

We are seeking an experienced OOABAP Developer to contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of SAP-based applications. This role requires strong expertise in object-oriented programming, code refactoring, and SAP ABAP best practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

Extensive experience in object-oriented programming beyond standard SAP ALVs and BADIs

Proven ability to refactor code to be open for extension but closed for modification

Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP objects, demonstrating practical implementation

Ability to work independently and drive technical solutions

Expertise in SAP ABAP development with a deep understanding of SAP’s technical architecture

Strong troubleshooting skills related to transaction processing and database design

Proficiency in SAP development methodologies and best practices

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with one or more SAP functional modules (FI, SD, MM, etc.)

Experience with workflow automation or ALE/EDI integrations

Strong engineering mindset with a focus on system integrity and scalability

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Compensation:

Pay range: $105k-150k per year
