Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Extensive Hands-On Experience with Firewalls: Demonstrate advanced expertise in configuring and managing firewalls, particularly Palo Alto and Fortinet, which are mandatory. Experience with other network security solutions such as Netskope, Armis, and Cisco ISE is highly desirable.

Network Technologies Proficiency: Possess a strong understanding of network technologies, including routing and switching, to ensure seamless integration and operation of security measures.

Firewall Migration and Configuration: Execute firewall migration projects and configurations with precision, ensuring minimal disruption and enhanced security.

Incident Management Leadership: Lead and manage P1/P2 calls, making informed and timely decisions to address critical security incidents effectively.

Client Interaction: Engage with clients regularly to understand their needs, provide updates, and ensure their security requirements are met. Present weekly updates to clients, demonstrating progress and addressing any concerns.

Vendor Coordination: Connect with vendors on a weekly basis to escalate unresolved issues and ensure timely resolution of security-related problems.

Security Incident Investigation: Collaborate with the Security Operations team to thoroughly investigate and respond to any security incidents, ensuring swift resolution and mitigation.

Security Device Management: Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and other security devices to guarantee secure access and data transmission across the network.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to integrate robust security measures into network operations and ongoing projects.

Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to relevant security standards and regulations, and prepare comprehensive reports on security status and incidents for internal and external stakeholders.

Team Leadership: Lead the security team during US business hours, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure effective security operations.Company Description
