Join the Mental Health Kokua (MHK) team as a Clinical Supervisor and play a critical role in guiding staff, shaping clinical care, and supporting adults living with serious mental illness.

This full-time position is based on Hawaii Island—preferably in Hilo or Kona—and we’re seeking a collaborative, community-rooted leader already living on the island.

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will oversee interdisciplinary teams, ensure clinical excellence, and uphold quality standards to support individuals on their journey to recovery and community integration.

Clinical Supervisor Responsibilities:Lead and facilitate treatment team meetings to develop and implement individualized care plans.Provide clinical supervision and support to case management and residential staff.Ensure all documentation and services meet contract requirements and accreditation standards.Guide and assist staff in managing complex, high-risk cases using effective clinical interventions.Deliver engaging, relevant training to enhance staff skills and professional growth.Promote trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, recovery-based practices across programs.

Clinical Supervisor Requirements:Must be currently licensed in Hawaii as a Psychologist, APRN, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC.Minimum of two (2) years of experience in human services; supervisory experience strongly preferred.Proven ability to lead teams, navigate crises, and support adults with severe mental illness.Strong knowledge of clinical documentation, ethics, and best practices in mental health.Must currently reside on Hawaii Island and be available for in-person responsibilities.
