Salary: $125,000-$140,000

Prime Healthcare of Illinois Medical Group is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Gastroenterology team at Resurrection Medical Center. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work within a high-performing, collaborative inpatient and outpatient GI practice at a leading Chicago-based hospital.

About Resurrection Medical CenterResurrection Medical Center is a part of Prime Healthcare and serves the northwest side of Chicago. Known for clinical excellence, community outreach, and patient-centered care, the center provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic options in multiple specialties, including a growing GI department.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.• Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manage inpatient consults and outpatient follow-up visits.• Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.• Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.• Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Illinois.• Strongly preferred: 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology or inpatient medicine.• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.• EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
