Experienced Millwright
Description:
Are you a mechanically skilled professional who thrives in a hands-on industrial environment? Mining company hiring a Millwright with expertise in rod and ball milling, mechanical maintenance, and industrial equipment repair.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair cone/jaw crushers, crusher screens, conveyor belts, and slurry pumps
Perform welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication
Support the mill crew to ensure smooth production
Follow MSHA & company safety procedures
Maintain accurate logs of repair/maintenance activities
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
Familiar with rod and ball milling
Strong understanding of industrial mechanical systems
Proficient with diagnostic tools, welding gear, and hand tools
Ability to read blueprints/schematics is a strong plus
Physically able to lift/move heavy machinery
Excellent problem-solving & multitasking abilities
Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Location: Gouverneur, NY
Schedule: M–F (must be flexible for urgent projects)
