We have an immediate need for a Helper/Apprentice at our Pflugerville, TX location.

Thank you to our employees for being “The Cedar Park Overhead Doors Advantage”! Summary In the role of Helper/Apprentice in our Gates department, you will play a pivotal role by assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of gates, access controls, pedestrian gates, and related systems.

Prior experience is not a prerequisite, as we provide thorough on-the-job training.

DutiesAssist with the installation of gates and gate products per manufacture specifications.Gather and prepare materials needed for installs and service jobs.Maintain paperwork and records as necessary.Maintain safe, secure.

RequirementsMust be at least 21 years of age.Must possess a valid Driver's License.Must have a clean driving record to be added to our auto insurance policy.Must have dependable & reliable transportation.

Preferred QualificationsBasic knowledge of construction, hand tools, and/or electrical.Mechanical inclination SkillsWillingness to learnStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailCustomer service orientated mindsetAdaptability to changing work environmentsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills Work ConditionsNon-climate-controlled environment – potentially working in all weather conditions.Frequently sitting, standing, bending, lifting up to 50-75 lbs.
