Global Commercialization Director Beverage - Erlanger, KY
MAIN FUNCTION: The Global Commercialization Director, Beverage is responsible for the strategic management of beverage and beverage system commercialization across the Human Nutrition business, with the purpose of providing best-in-class products to our customers across the globe. This role will ensure strategic alignment with our key customers, while elevating our status as a key global partner to the beverage industry. Having a strong sense of initiative, this individual will be responsible for building and maintaining customer technical relationships and for providing guidance between regions on best practices to deliver high-quality beverage products.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
BS degree or higher (in Food Science or related field) with 18+ years’ experience or MS degree (in Food Science or related field) with 15+ years’ experience.
Broad technical knowledge of beverage and system processing, including preservation methods and microbiology
Leadership – excellence in leadership, people and project management skills and a strong understanding of the beverage flavor & ingredient business
Communication – well-developed communication skills, able to communicate at all levels, with good presentation skills
Customer-Centric – makes customers/clients and their needs a primary focus, exceeding customers’ expectations at all times
Global Influence – able to align teams and their work to achieve successful commercialization of customer’s products across all regions
Regulatory experience, micro knowledge, vitamin calculations from sellable to finished beverage and analytical chemistry experience neededDESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED:
Act as the technical commercialization liaison for key global beverage customers, ensuring a high level of strategic focus
Serve as an advisor to regional CD&D Beverage teams, ensuring consistent processes are used to minimize risks during formulation and development work
Technical oversight of consistent formula development and utilization of harmonized raw materials and manufacturing processes to ease globalization while maintaining customer brand integrity
Technical lead of formula transfers for global key accounts between regions
Align with regional commercialization teams to ensure flawless execution of global transfers and scaleup
Technical lead of global stability testing and validation processes
Lead the Analytical Stability Scientist to complete and analyze vitamin & mineral stability studies
Develop and foster strong customer relationships, ensuring our customers have confidence in our ability to support the globalization of their brand(s), and ultimately yielding sales growth in the beverage market segment
When appropriate, share best practices and processes for globalization with other ADM Nutrition segment commercialization teamsKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Broad and strong technical knowledge of Beverage development, regulatory and processing
The position requires a high level of strategic thinking, market knowledge, and acts as a technical advisor to internal and external global customers
Influencing Skills – The Individual has the aptitude to influence, motivate, persuade and beneficially achieve shared goals with others
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, PPT, WORD etc.) is critical; working knowledge of Salesforce is preferred

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$120,800.00 - $223,900.00
Salaried Incentive Plan
The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus and a long-term incentive plan
