Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking multiple skilled Pipe Welders. The ideal candidates will have expertise in welding techniques for various pipe sizes and materials, including TIG, MIG and Fluxcore welding.

Responsibilities:

Perform welding operations on pipes according to specifications and codes.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to determine requirements.

Set up welding machines based on the job requirements.

Conduct quality inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet standards.

Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.

Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pipe Welder.

Ability to pass welding tests, including:

Open root 3G MIG/Fluxcore fill in cap test on 2-inch Schedule 160 pipe.

6G TIG root flux fill in cap test on 2-inch Schedule 40 pipe.

6-inch pipe Schedule 40 roll out test (MIG root and flux fill in cap).

Proficiency in using a pinwheel for 6-inch pipe roll out tests.

Knowledge of welding techniques for various pipe sizes and materials.

Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
