QUALITY CONTROL ASSOCIATE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Conduct thorough product inspections to ensure superior quality standards are met

Document and maintain detailed quality records and production data

Execute line release procedures following startups, changeovers, and machine downtime

Implement rigorous quality control measures to prevent contamination and visible defects

Partner with Setup and Extrusion teams to optimize production efficiency while maintaining product integrity

Certify products according to company specifications and industry standards

Record accurate quantities and quality information on production documentation

Ensure proper packaging of finished products for warehousing and shipping

Maintain a clean workspace through proactive housekeeping, cleaning work areas, and organizing materials

Prepare workstations and necessary materials for upcoming shifts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Forklift certification or experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Quality control background (a plus)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Proficiency with computer applications including Excel and Outlook

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality

Capability to lift, twist, push, pull, and carry materials weighing 70+ pounds regularly

TRAINING PROCESS:

120 hours of hands-on practical training (conducted during first shift)
