Slitter Operator

Bema, Incorporated a recognized leader in the flexible packaging industry is looking for an experienced Slitting Operator for Second Shift (4PM-2:30A) with a proven track record in supporting a fast-paced organization. Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to set up and run slitter.

Read work orders and follow instructions accurately.

Conduct quality checks and ensuring high quality output of product.

Meet production goals as related to run rates and waste.

Ability to do basic math calculations.

Communicate clearly both verbally and written.

Basic mechanical skills.

Meet and exceed set quality standards.

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

2-3 years’ experience

Physically demanding position: long periods standing, bending, squatting, reaching and pulling. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Overtime

Helps ensure all policies for the company and the American Institute of Baking (AIB) are followed.
