Your Impact:

Pearce is seeking an Entry Level Wind Technician, with a commitment to excellence, strong desire to succeed and learn new skills utilizing established procedures, with the highest regard for health, safety, and environmental compliance. As a Field Service Wind Technician I, you will carry out daily tasks such as cleaning, organizing, minor service, and/or repairs to wind turbine generators and related equipment and facilities. This position is 100% travel.

Core Responsibilities

Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)

Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements.

Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.

Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work area including sweeping, wiping oil, grease, solvent spills.

Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with general supervision.

Core Experience

Graduated from Accredited Trade School or relevant mechanical or electrical experience.

Work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle.

Knowledge of various hand and power tools.

Work meets customer and company standards required of position and job, including following project schedules.

Physical/Work Environment

At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA/DOT Standards.

Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.

Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.

Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds).

Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses.

At Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices. This position is non-exempt, and the base pay range is based on experience, skills, certifications, and location. Employees in this role are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

In addition to hourly wages, employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation. Base Pay Range

$21—$25 USD
