Molding Technician

Direct Hire

$30-35/hr

1st shift, 6AM-6PM, 2/2/3 rotating schedule

Position Purpose: Maintain all tooling and support production with mold repair/maintenance operations.

Responsibilities:

Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety

Interact with engineering, production, and tooling staff when troubleshooting molds

Identify solutions to complex molding and mold problems as they pertain to injection molding manufacturing.

Create work orders for the service of all molds and maintain records as required.

Coordinate the implementation of solutions for needed repairs.

Verify molds are production ready; advise production and engineering of condition of molds.

Train others in the operation of equipment in the Tool Repair department.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

5+ years of experience in mold making, mold design, and/or mold processes strongly preferred

Mechanical aptitude.

Microsoft Office and Engineering software computer skills.
