Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSABILITIES
Operate all equipment (order picker, pallet jacks, forklift) within standard operating procedures.
Complete daily inspection of heavy equipment.
Responsible to conduct the equipment responsibly by following safety requirements.
Be able to use RF (radius frequency device)
Pulling products use common sense when moving merchandise and make good sound decisions.
Report accidents immediately to Supervisor or Manager in charge.
Report all damages to Group Leader Supervisor or Manager without regard to size, type of cost of merchandise.
Responsible for quality control, no damaged merchandise is shipped out or received if not in first class condition.
Communicate with other warehouse associates from other shifts as required.
Turn off, lock out and recharge equipment when not used.
Must be flexible for peak scheduling of days off.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
Heavy Equipment Certification.
Manual dexterity required for operating equipment.
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a warehouse/distribution environment, work involves frequency lifting of merchandise and product of up to 90 pounds. Equipment operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: Safety harness, safety toe shoes and safety belt (back stabilizer).
Full-time
