We are seeking a highly motivated Slitter Operator ready to make a positive impact on our Production team!
The primary role is to operate slitter machines to ensure that all jobs are completed in a timely manner and to specifications, passing quality control measures.
Role & Responsibilities:
The Slitter Operator is responsible for labeling, bagging, and palletizing the finished rolls.
Set up machines according to job orders and optimization requirements.
Verify that the master roll product code matches the job order code.
Inspect rolls for defects and blemishes.
Receive direction from the Lead regarding order priorities.
Recheck the width of the rolls as they come off the slitter.
Print labels, cut cores as needed, label, and bag each roll, providing additional packaging as required.
Operate all slitter machines upon request following proper training, including cross-training on all machines (forklift, baler, core cutter, etc.).
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:30pm to 11:00pm (Must be flexible to work OT as needed)
Pay: $20 - $23 (Based on Experience) + a shift differential

Requirements:
Basic Computer skills required
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of related experience preferably
Skills and Competencies
Must be dependable and maintain an exemplary punctuality and attendance rate
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Able to work in a team environment and fulfill objectives w/ minimum direct supervision
Be respectful and have a positive attitude
Experience working in a LEAN operation highly desirable
Ability to use and read scales, micrometers, and all measuring tools
Good Math Skills
Dependable
