As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Uvalde, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for customers and staff. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team, upholding integrity, and putting people first. This position also involves driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:30 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:30 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to individuals at retail locations.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or unauthorized behavior within the retail or mall location.

Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have an Armed Designation as required by applicable laws and regulations.

Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by state or local regulations.

Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Must have a valid driver's license and meet AU Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.

Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
