Position Overview:
As our 2nd Shift Plastic Injection Molding Technician, you’ll be the molding expert in our production area, ensuring we meet our quality and delivery goals with pride! You'll be working with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and tools and will be the go-to person for troubleshooting and mold installations.

What You’ll Do:
Provide upkeep, IQ and maintenance (including PM per procedures) and repairing of molding equipment and secondary equipment (e.g. desiccant dryer, temperature controller)
Provides troubleshooting support and is first level escalation point for all molding issues
Develop/support process for new molding job, including alternate material, tool, equipment
Improvement suggestions on molding jobs
Log work completed as required in a neat and orderly fashion in both written and electronic methods, including prototype LHR and process documentation
Acquisition of components or tools for molding equipment, manage spare parts
Support installation and setup of new molding equipment and accessories
Training of operators for new molding processes
Support production molding setup
What We’re Looking For:
Basic knowledge of air handling and general production environment systems
Good hand to eye coordination and manual dexterity
Listens well and is able to follow detailed oral and written directions
Good work ethic, reliable and punctual
Ability to work on a variety of tasks on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis
Vocational - High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical training or relevant experience preferred
3-5 years of manufacturing experience
