Position Summary

This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitization of egg processing equipment and common areas.

Essential Job Functions

Follow GMP’s

Report food safety and quality concerns to Sanitation supervisor or Processing manager

Cleaning and sanitization of egg processing equipment and common areas.

Wear required PPE and follow instructions

Work well with others

Other tasks assigned as needed

Post clean up inspection

Completion of required weekly record keeping

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior sanitation experience preferred, but not required

Skills

Strong attention to detail

Remain focused to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Conscious of surroundings at all times

Able to follow instructions closely and multi-task

Team Lead experience

Physical Effort/ Work Environment

Environment: plant/processing/common areas

Exposures encountered: hazardous materials, moving parts

Essential physical requirements: walking, standing, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting

Physical effort/lifting: medium - up to 35 pounds

Evenings/nights, Weekdays, weekends, Holidays
