We work 4-10 hour days (Monday-Thursday); we offer, Day shift (5am-3pm) and Afternoon shift (3pm-1am).

About the Role:

The CNC Programmer/Supervisor plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by overseeing the operation of CNC machines to ensure precision and quality in production. This position is responsible for supporting a team of CNC operators, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and efficiency. The Programmer/Supervisor will also be tasked with troubleshooting machine issues and implementing solutions to maintain optimal production flow. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure that all products meet the required specifications and standards. Ultimately, the CNC Programmer/Supervisor is essential in driving productivity and maintaining high-quality output in the manufacturing environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as a CNC operator with a minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent technical training.

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of CNC operators to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.

Conduct regular training sessions for team members on CNC machine operation, safety protocols, and quality control measures.

Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process.

Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to review and implement design specifications and quality standards.

Maintain accurate records of production metrics, machine maintenance, and team performance for reporting purposes.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include a strong understanding of CNC machinery, which is essential for operating and troubleshooting equipment effectively. Leadership skills are crucial as the CNC Operator Lead will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team, ensuring that all members are well-trained and motivated.
