A leading engineering consulting firm is seeking a?Pipeline Integrity Engineer?to support pressure testing initiatives and advance pipeline safety and compliance. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented engineer with strong regulatory knowledge and experience in pressure testing and technical client support. Working collaboratively, the new hire will drive project success by developing and managing test plans, supporting specialized software, and delivering technical guidance while contributing to training initiatives and business development.

Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

Develop and update existing pressure test standards and pipeline-specific test plans.

Act as the account manager for online pressure test application and perform the following activities:

Ensure application is compliant with all pressure testing requirements and update calculations based on regulatory changes.

Set up and validate pressure tests.

Answer all engineering related questions for application users.

Coordinate with the software developer to update application as needed.

Responsible for the project management and client relationships for application.

Network with potential clients and perform demos of the software.

Attend industry events and conferences.

Provide in person pressure test and application specific training.

Provide on-site pressure test assistance when needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical degree

Working knowledge of pipeline standards and regulations, including CFR 192, Subpart J and 195, Subpart E

5+ years of relevant experience in the midstream industry, preferably with pipeline pressure testing

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Extensive knowledge and skill with Microsoft Excel

Willingness to perform duties outside of the basic job description and quickly expand skillset into new areas

Detail-oriented and committed to delivering quality work with minimal oversight

Experience with technical sales and promoting software

Knowledge of SQL

Comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people
