Job Description

Position Overview: This role involves general labor tasks while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to company policies and procedures. The primary responsibilities include operating the pan and press to meet customer specifications and HACCP standards.

Shift: D shift=TH, FRI, SAT and every other WED (6PM-6AM)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Confirm mill output from continuous cooker (I-PEC) to presses.

Siphon off animal fat in the pan.

Ensure mill leaving the press is dry and ready for the mill room.

Replace fat filters every hour.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.

Effective communication skills with other personnel.

Teamwork skills.

Adherence to all safety requirements.

Working Conditions:

Hot, humid environment at times, as well as cold, wet conditions for up to 12-hour shifts.

Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., including at shoulder level or higher.

Infrequent lifting and carrying up to 100 lbs., including at shoulder level or above.

Job Bid Requirements:

Current, regular, full-time, or part-time employee.

No more than 4 points at the time of bid and when job begins.

No active written warnings, final written warnings, or last chance agreements.

At least six months in current position and employed at SC Pet Solutions, LLC for at least six months.

Must meet job qualifications listed in the posting.
