The Opportunity:
As a Landscape Maintenance Business Development Representative, you will be instrumental in generating $1 million or more in annual contract sales for our commercial landscape maintenance services. You will focus on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within your assigned target market, building strong relationships with property managers, facility directors, and key decision-makers. From initial contact and site assessment to proposal development and contract negotiation, you will guide prospects through the entire sales cycle.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and maintain strong relationships within your assigned target market.
Identify and generate new commercial landscape maintenance leads.
Win profitable business and consistently achieve sales goals.
What You’ll Bring:
A deep understanding of landscape maintenance solutions.
A proven track record in B2B sales, with 3+ years of experience in proactive hunting sales.
Exceptional skills in strategic prospecting, networking, and closing long-term service agreements.
The ability to generate your own leads and build networks.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in CRM navigation and usage.
Strong business computer and Office 365 skills.
Basic landscape and irrigation maintenance knowledge.
FNGLA certification (preferred).

A consistently growing sales pipeline.
Accurate and detailed project scopes.
Well-maintained project historical data.
Compelling and effective sales proposals.
Regular achievement of scorecard goals.
Successful execution of quarterly sales plans and annual event plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Regular cold and warm email and phone communications.
Conducting virtual client meetings.
Diligent follow-up on leads and opportunities.
Maintaining and updating CRM data daily.
Performing market research.
Attending weekly alignment team meetings and 1-on-1 meetings.
Conducting in-person client meetings and stop-bys.
Participating in networking and industry events.
Sponsoring and attending trade shows as needed.
