The Grand Rapids Housing Commission is actively seeking a full-time custodian to work first shift.

Be the guardian of cleanliness in our building

Keep our spaces safe, sanitized, and welcoming

Keep the curb appeal inviting to the community

Tackle spills, dust, and clutter like a pro

High school diploma or GED

Minimum 1 year experience

Knowledge of custodial techniques, methods, materials, and equipment used in maintaining building equipment and grounds.

Skilled in use of various building and grounds maintenance tools and equipment as appropriate (lawn mower, edger, buffer, vacuum cleaner, etc.).

Knowledge of minor building repair and maintenance of plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical systems
