We are looking to add an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to an established and collaborative team to build out modern technology solutions that will allow us to be a leader in the Life and Annuity Insurance space.
We are looking for someone with a strong hands-on background in the Azure platform and endpoint devices who has a track record of successfully designing and building key Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) components, integrating with cloud platforms, and identifying and implementing IaaS best practices. This candidate will operate in an agile model to deliver new infrastructure, technical improvements, business enhancements and business features. This role will report to the Head of Technology Services, ensuring that we continue to build the best solutions, engage our business partners, and promote our technology strategy.

The successful candidate must be capable of seizing opportunities for continuous improvement but also driving adoption of organizational strategic initiatives. Qualifications and Skills
Job Responsibilities:
· Assist in designing, implementing, and managing Azure infrastructure and Software as a Service solutions.
· Support the configuration and maintenance of virtual networks, VPNs, load balancers, switches, wireless access points, and other network components.
· Help develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates.
· Contribute to ensuring security and compliance of Azure environments, including IAM, encryption, and threat management.
· Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting issues using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
· Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and other automation tools.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure services with existing systems.
· Configure and maintain office technology systems.
· Provide support for end user devices and management.
Expected Technical Knowledge:
· Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, Azure services, and Entra ID.
· Fundamental networking knowledge, including virtual networks, VPNs, and network security.
· Experience with Windows and Linux system administration and server management.
· Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates and Terraform.
· Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
· Understanding of monitoring and troubleshooting tools in Azure.
· Foundational scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
· Basic understanding of endpoint management such as Windows 11 configuration and mobile devices management.
· Ability to diagnose and repair hardware issues, including laptops, peripherals, and components.
· Implementing and managing security measures, including conditional access policies, antivirus software, and firewalls.
Soft Skills:

· Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
· Collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, managed service providers, and business stakeholders.
