Allied Universal® is hiring a Client Rebid and Retention Specialist. The Client Rebid and Retention Specialist is a critical member of the regional business sales and operations team reporting directly to the Senior Regional Vice President. The Client Rebid and Retention Specialist will lead the Client Retention Planning Process, coordinating with internal operations team members as well as with the Proposal Support team, Pricing Specialists, and the Legal Services Group to ensure the retention opportunities are calendared and that all associated tasks (including responding to Requests for Proposal) - stay on track. The Client Rebid and Retention Specialist's goal is to optimize customer retention ratings and profit margins.

This is a hybrid position that will require the candidate to report to the office 50% of the time in one of these locations: Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, or Austin.

The ideal candidate must have the following:

A minimum of one (1) year of experience in proposal writing and/or bid experience

Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Outstanding oral and written communication skills

Ability to lead and hold other leaders accountable

Having experience in the security industry is a plus!

This is the ideal position for someone who naturally is curious and not afraid to speak up

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate efforts of regional leaders on the rebid cycle for all contracts with upcoming expiration dates; exercise strong internal project management skills to ensure contracts do not go out to rebid in the first place; delegate tasks to other departments (Pricing, Legal, etc.) as well as Operations personnel (GMs, RVPs); assigned deadlines; develop customer retention plans; lead planning meetings

Support development and utilization of enterprise level tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, the Proposal Builder, Client Survey tools) that will be used to raise visibility of upcoming contract expiration dates; offer suggestions and best practices

Coordinate rebid proposal development and interactions with the rebid proposal development team and the pricing team to ensure margins are maximized during rebid; review the work product of others; edit and/or make corrections or improvements to our responses to rebid RFPs

Coordinate and participate in rebid sales presentations; design presentations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or related field of study

A minimum of one (1) year of experience in proposal writing and/or bid experience

Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Outstanding oral and written communication skills

Ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines

Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree in business, marketing, sales, or related field of study

Experience with Salesforce.com

Project management experience
