Position Summary
Blue Acorn iCi is looking for a highly skilled and user-focused Digital Designer, Personalization with experience in adapting existing creative assets for different audience segments, test variants, and user journeys. You’ll work on complex digital transformation and/or ecommerce projects for enterprise clients, working on-site in Denver, CO. Your role will be critical in translating user needs and business goals into intuitive, elegant, and scalable digital experiences.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, business analysts, and client stakeholders to design interfaces that are both beautiful and functional — aligning with enterprise-grade usability, accessibility, and technical requirements.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Design and update web images, hero banners, icons, and UI elements for personalization and A/B testing campaigns
Adapt existing creative assets for different audience segments, test variants, and user journeys
Collaborate with copywriters, developers, and UX researchers to ensure visual consistency across variants
Work with Adobe Commerce development teams
Elicits constructive feedback from clients and is capable of interpreting that feedback into design solutions
Is able to design flexible UI informed by clients brand guidelines
Research, formulate, execute and deliver standard web usability deliverables including personas, heuristic reviews, and formal usability tests
Develop, present, and iterate responsive wireframes to meet client needs
Document designs to meet the needs of our front-end development teams and work with our developers as the designs are implemented to ensure that the finished product meets the design goals
Perform visual quality assurance on finished web product prior to customer delivery
Qualifications
Ability to work on-site in Denver, CO
5+ years of experience as Digital Designer/UX UI Designer
Adobe Commerce (or similar eCommerce platform) experience is preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly articulate both design decisions/rationale to a variety of audiences and how those design decisions will directly impact the success of the business/client
Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability, drawing skills and sketchbook technique
Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail
Have the ability to maneuver visual balance of text, imagery and graphics
Have strong layout skills to display information in the most effective way
Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design comps
Proficient with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies
Able to integrate UX into Agile development practices.
Have substantial, demonstrable practical experience across all facets of usability testing, user experience design and visual design for the modern, responsive web. Front-end development and/or mobile design experience is a plus
Understand the design and usability problems associated with large enterprise and eCommerce websites
Proven experience with Figma, full understanding of its capabilities, and how to effectively use it
Experience working with an Agile team
