Overview:
GD Resources is seeking a licensed, experienced School Psychologist to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations at Red Rock Day School, a Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) facility. This is a contracted, independent role requiring travel to the school site and submission of formal written evaluation reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations of K–8 students referred for educational or behavioral concerns
Utilize standardized assessments to identify needs related to learning, cognition, social/emotional development, and behavior
Prepare detailed written reports in alignment with BIE and federal guidelines
Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings as needed
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to federal privacy regulations (PII)
Submit documentation and progress summaries as required by the school
Hours & Schedule:
Services will be delivered during regular school hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday)
Flexible/as-needed schedule based on referrals and student needs
Travel days and remote report writing time may be coordinated with school administration
Total Estimated Hours (Base Year): Up to 240 hours (approx. 30 full days) — may vary based on actual demand
Contractor is expected to complete all assigned evaluations within agreed timelines
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology or Clinical Psychology
Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (AZ preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting
Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, and special education eligibility criteria
Strong written communication and report writing skills
Ability to work independently and travel to Red Valley, AZ as needed
U.S. Citizenship (required for federal contracting)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Native American or rural education environments
Active fingerprint clearance card or ability to pass a background check
Familiarity with BIE systems and documentation standards.
