The Advance Group has partnered with a local furniture retailer who is seeking a Senior Retail Media Strategist in the Monroe, MI area. The ideal candidate for this Direct Hire opportunity will possess experience with local media planning.
Senior Retail Media Strategist Responsibilities:
Develop and support quarterly media strategies across U.S. DMAs for both traditional (TV, radio, print) and digital (SEM, display, social, streaming) channels.
Lead onboarding for new market/store media campaigns.
Collaborate with media agencies on reviews, performance, and budget changes.
Monitor campaign KPIs and provide optimization insights.
Manage and track budgets for single-store retail events and broader campaigns.
Provide data-driven recommendations and assist with tagging and digital tracking.
Review and respond to traditional media performance (e.g., underperformance, makegoods).
Maintain accurate documentation using media and budget planning tools. Senior Retail Media Strategist Requirements:
Bachelorâ s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications (or equivalent experience).
4â 6 years of experience in media strategy and planning.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience with local media buying (traditional and digital).
Strong understanding of retail advertising and promotional cycles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Knowledge of creative/production workflows and digital tracking tools.
Analytical thinker and strong communicator; thrives in fast-paced settings.
Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Occasional travel (up to 5%). Senior Retail Media Strategist Schedule:
Mondayâ Friday, 8 AMâ 5 PM (flexible hours available)
Remote on Mondays and Fridays
May require availability outside regular hours when needed Senior Retail Media Strategist Compensation:
$80,000â $90,000 per year (based on experience)
