Job Description
General Shop Helper Pay Rate and Hours:
$16/hr to $18/hr depending on experience
6 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday
General Shop Helper Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
A General Shop Helper is responsible for a variety of tasks to keep a shop or workspace running efficiently. This role involves assisting with various shop-related tasks, including cleaning, stocking, organizing, and potentially assisting with basic repairs or assembly, depending on the specific shop environment.
General Shop Helper Basic Requirements:
Cleaning work areas, equipment, and machinery.
Sweeping, mopping, and organizing the workspace.
Removing debris and scrap materials.
Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment.
General Shop Helper Additional Requirements:
Helping with basic repairs or assembly tasks.
Operating relevant equipment (e.g., forklifts, material handling equipment).
Assisting with the movement of materials and equipment.
Following written procedures and shop orders.
General Shop Helper Desired Skills:
General engine knowledge is a plus
Usage of air tools
