As we serve and grow to a rapidly increasing number of partners, we are looking for a Director of Operational Initiatives to ensure the smooth operation and alignment of strategic projects. This role will act as the right hand to the SVP of Operations, providing strategic support, managing internal operations, and driving key initiatives. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive, and strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to manage complex projects.
What you’ll do in the role:
Operational Alignment: Ensure all functions under Operations are aligned with overall business goals and strategies.
Project Management: Lead and manage special projects and initiatives as assigned, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Meeting Preparation: Assist in preparing for meetings, including gathering and organizing relevant materials, drafting agendas, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
Material Preparation: Develop, edit, and review presentations, reports, and other documents for internal and external use.
Dashboard Management: Create and manage dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to all stakeholders.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between leadership and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities and streamline workflows, enhance team effectiveness, and reduce operational friction.
Team Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate meetings and events, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
Other responsibilities as needed based on business needs.
Education & Licensure Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Other Skills or Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategic, operational, or project management role.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with project management and dashboard tools is a plus.
High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Experience working with technology, product, clinical and/or pharmacy teams is preferred, but not required.
Management consulting experience, ideally in a healthcare setting, is preferred but not required.
Entrepreneurial experience, either as a member of a founding team or supporting a startup executive directly, is preferred but not required. Here’s what we’d like to offer you:
