Walton Enterprises is seeking a proactive and technically skilled individual to join our cybersecurity team as an Analyst. This role supports the cybersecurity infrastructure and strategy of the organization, serving as a critical contributor to security operations, threat detection, and risk mitigation. Please note: We are unable to sponsor employment visas for this position, including OPT and CPT authorizations. Position required to be onsite at Bentonville, AR office. About the Position As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding enterprise systems by deploying, managing, and improving cybersecurity tools and procedures—particularly in the areas of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and incident response. What you will do You will report directly to the Cybersecurity Director and contribute to the operational and strategic oversight of cybersecurity across a variety of environments and systems. Specific responsibilities include: Responsibilities - Monitor and support Cybersecurity systems, including endpoint protection, firewalls, SIEM tools, and intrusion detection systems. - Manage, tune, and monitor Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms to proactively detect and respond to advanced threats across the organization. - Deploy, configure, and monitor Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to secure sensitive data in motion, at rest, and in use. - Assist in implementing and maintaining Cybersecurity controls, policies, and procedures. - Perform threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation tasks. - Investigate anomalies, analyze logs, and escalate incidents in coordination with the Cybersecurity team. - Assist with the configuration and management of security systems and services, including data loss prevention (DLP), encryption, and secure access tools. - Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts, ensuring cybersecurity requirements are incorporated into backup and resilience solutions. - Maintain detailed documentation related to incidents, configurations, procedures, and system performance for audits and compliance. - Contribute to internal audits and readiness for frameworks and other assessments. - Provide security training and awareness support across the organization. Who we are looking for Qualifications required for your success - Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5+ years of progressive experience in a cybersecurity, security operations, or infrastructure security role. - Proficiency with enterprise-grade EDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint). - Hands-on experience managing DLP platforms (e.g., Varonis, Symantec, Forcepoint, Microsoft Purview) including policy creation, enforcement, and tuning. - In-depth understanding of incident response processes, threat analysis, and forensic data interpretation. - Familiarity with SIEM solutions, IDS/IPS systems, and network security controls. - Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST CSF/RMF, ISO 27001, or SOC 2. - Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: - Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or equivalent. - Experience scripting in PowerShell or Python to automate routine security tasks and incident investigation. - Cloud security controls in environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Prior experience supporting or participating in regulatory audits and IT risk assessments. Benefits Information Compensation Range: $125,000- $152,000 Benefits Information: We offer a comprehensive and generous benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off.
