All while understanding that together we are even better.\n \n\n \n Shift : Three 12 hour days, no weekends, no call\n \n\n \n Location: AdventHealth Hospital La Grange\n \n\n \n The role you’ll contribute:\n \n\n \n Assists with setting up, scrubbing into, monitoring and assisting the physicians with all cases performed in the EP lab.

Cases included standard EP cases which include devices, ablations, loop recorders, and LAAO devices.

The Technologist is proficient in all aspects of angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation and monitoring consistent with the policies, procedures and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration.

Adheres to the guidelines and standards of professional practice associations.

Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.\n \n\n \n The value you’ll bring to the team:\n \n\n \n\n\nFacilitates room turn over and set up for all cases in the EP lab using sterile technique\n \nProvides side by side support to the physician during cases\n \nAble to monitor cases appropriately using the EMR and hemodynamic system.\n \nAssesses and maintains the necessary supplies for the different cases performed and communicates to the lead RT or materials management when items need to be ordered.\n \nCaptures and enters appropriate charges for each case\n \nReconciles billing for historical cases\n \nAssists other team members to facilitate the daily workflow for the day which may include patient transport and other necessary duties.\n \n\n \n\n\n Qualifications\n \n The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:\n \n\n \n\n\nGraduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Required\n \n3 years of experience Preferred\n \nPrepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.\n \nPrepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.\n \nObserves patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity.

Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.\n \nFollows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.\n \nAble to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.\n \nEnsures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.\n \nBasic EKG interpretation\n \nKnowledge of electrophysiology diagnostic procedures\n \nRCIS/RCES\n \nBCLS - Basic Life Support Required\n \nACLS Required\n \nARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required\n \nIEMA Required\n \nRCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Preferred\n \nRCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Preferred\n \n\n \n\n\n This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
