Adjunct Assistant Professor

Position Summary

The Dental Hygiene Program in the Division of Comprehensive Oral Health, UNC School of Dentistry, is seeking an adjunct faculty member for laboratory and/or clinical teaching. This position is responsible for clinical teaching and will supervise students (DH and DDS ) providing patient care to a diverse patient population, participate in calibration with other faculty, and engage in remediation of DH students. The adjunct faculty member must demonstrate and model the expertise expected of a dental hygiene professional and attend training when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience

Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years of clinical dental hygiene experience and a commitment to providing hands-on patient care and enjoy interacting with students.
