Targeted HR Consulting is actively recruiting for an experienced EHS Manager to join our client’s team at a high-performing industrial plant. This individual will lead and manage all environmental, safety, and health programs—balancing regulatory compliance with employee wellness and engagement initiatives.
Role Summary:
This position is responsible for driving site safety culture and ensuring environmental compliance through system improvements, team leadership, and proactive program management. The ideal candidate also brings a passion for worker health—supporting employee well-being initiatives onsite.
Primary Duties:
Lead plant safety performance, inspections, and systems oversight.
Manage employee health and wellness programs and onsite amenities.
Conduct EHS risk assessments and root cause investigations using HOP.
Develop site-specific KPIs and track ongoing EHS performance.
Facilitate compliance reporting and ensure regulatory adherence.
Collaborate cross-functionally with environmental, HR, and operations leaders.
Coordinate EHS engagement events and internal communication.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years' experience as an EHS Coordinator or higher.
Demonstrated success in managing EHS systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI, and relevant state/local laws.
Bonus: Experience in Athletic Training, Hospital Safety, or Occupational Therapy.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation:
$85,000-$100,000 per year
