Responsibilities:

Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to guide strategic planning and financial decision-making.

Direct the end-of-month and year-end close processes, including preparation of detailed reports and reconciliations.

Monitor and maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.

Develop and enforce internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial policies to ensure compliance with GAAP standards.

Supervise accounting operations including accounts payable, tax reporting, and liquidity management.

Maintain and refine ALLL and CECL models to align with regulatory standards and institutional goals.

Collaborate with leadership to evaluate financial performance and recommend improvements to reporting systems.What you need for this position:

5+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field - or equivalent training and experience.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with CECL, call reports, and indirect loan amortization highly preferred.

Strong background working with accounting and analytics software such as Prologue, Financial Compass, NCino CECL, or similar platforms.

Proven success managing accounting teams and driving process improvements.

Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify financial trends, discrepancies, and opportunities.

Effective problem-solving and communication skills, with a collaborative leadership style.

Familiarity with regulatory standards, corporate accounts, and financial institution operations is a plus.
