Required Credentials: ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac sonography is mandatory.

Job Overview:

As an Echocardiography Technician, you will perform critical diagnostic procedures to evaluate cardiac structures and hemodynamics, following established protocols for both adult and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out diagnostic tests, accurately record patient results, and communicate findings.

Ensure patient comfort and safety, notifying physicians of any abnormalities or patient concerns.

Maintain adequate supplies and ensure all equipment is operational, reporting any issues.

Correctly position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters.

Comply with all regulatory agency standards in all activities.

Submit high-quality images and documentation to PACS promptly.

Assist in keeping department areas clean and organized.

Work attentively and safely at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational Qualifications:

Associate's degree or equivalent experience and education.

Experience Points:

No prior experience is needed; we welcome entry-level candidates.

Physical Demands:

Constant standing and walking.

Frequent use of vision and depth perception for varied distances.

Regularly communicating verbally and distinguishing body sounds or alarms.

Regular lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs; frequent patient handling.

Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and repetitive movements.

Required Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association.

One of the following: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Adult or Pediatric Echocardiography Specialty.
